Journal of Vestibular Research

The Journal of Vestibular Research: Equilibrium & Orientation, or JVR for short, is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to experimental and clinical vestibular science. Launched in 1990 and designated as the Official Journal of the Bárány Society in 2016, it publishes experimental and observational studies, review papers, and theoretical papers based on current knowledge of the vestibular system. The journal is published by Sage.

Journal of Vestibular Research

JVR is proud to publish the International Classification of Vestibular Disorders (ICVD) consensus documents – in partnership with the Bárány Society – which establish evidence-based consensus and standardization regarding defining syndromes, diseases, diagnostic procedures, and treatments in the field of neurotology with the goal of improving patient care. In addition, abstracts and papers from Bárány Society conferences are regularly published in the journal.
